So another new version of a script is out. Social Bookmarks Submitter this time.
While I highly appreciate how fast and often Adsenseboy updates the scripts, he has not solved one major issue, and this the absolute NIGHTMARE all the upgrades of his scripts are causing. Of course for himself he has a solution to click up date all his network sites with the upgrades I would swear. But I am lost and cant keep up with all the updates of all the scripts coming up all the time. THERE MUST BE A SOLUTION, that the scripts can be updated with either some sort of a one-click-install INSIDE THE SCRIPT or some central based script panel. I am willing to pay for such a complete server-side solution or whatever, but PLEASE... I have asked this now for several months via email and message to Adsense boy and get no replies to this problem Every other service and response from Adsenseboy is great and fast, but this is the main issue that causes me a lot of headaches using the scripts more effectively and to install it on more domains as I currently have them. -------------------- |

Well, I don't know ANY script/software written in PHP, which could update itself automatically. Take any script as example - Wordpress, XOOPS, IPB, Joomla, or any other. How many of them have automated updates feature? None. 0
If you are running Wordpress blog, you still need to update everything manually. And when running other scripts, you need to upload ALL files usually (with each new version), while tools by AdSenseBoy requires uploading several modified files only. Sometimes it's even not required to run an update script here! Sure, I would like to get everything updated automatically, but I consider it as full time job. Yes, I don't have any "normal" job, so I work 8-12 hours per day online. And I'm happy about my results and my income. Because I love spending time at the home (installing new scripts, updating sites, etc.) instead of listening to angry boss. Cheers, LSD |

I thought the upgrade was especially easy. You can copy and paste all the accounts to every site that you have SBS on so all you need to do is add the new accounts to one individual account and you are set. I agree that it takes a LOT of time to upgrade most new programs of AdSenseBoy, but this one was easy. I guess we are all lazy by nature. His scripts save so much time that it is amazing anyway. Can you imagine if we had to upgrade all our sites like the script was before being able to cut and paste the accounts? Marten Davis -------------------- |

Yes, PHP based scripts may require some more time to upgrade, BUT I still love PHP based tools, because they can be uploaded to server and does not require any interaction from me

Well, I had so many scripts which were fu**ing hard to update, that I'm impressed about AdSenseBoy scripts. They are so easy to update.
And yes, it's very cool that Social Bookmarks Submitter has import/export feature now. So you can upgrade one installation, and export account data to other installations easily |
