Hi there, any thoughts are welcomed,
I have 20 non AMM sites which links I want to submit to the social bookmarking sites The sites don't have have a XML sitemap but uses a php sitemap, so I have to add the URLS manually. My question is, what's the best way to install Social bookmarking submitter? Using one installation on one of the sites and add all the different site URL's on one account? Or install a copy of social submitter to all 20 sites, meaning 20 different databases, and 20 different cron jobs. As a side question, is it okay to set so many cron jobs in our hosting account? I'm using hostgator. How many additional social bookmarking accounts should I register for 20 sites to stay under the radar in your opinion? |

Hi,
I suggest you installing a single copy of Social Bookmarks Submitter and promoting all sites from this installation. It will save you lots of time for installation. If you will promote 20 URLs only, having 2-5 accounts will be enough. However, I had a customer who was promoting only about 10 websites, and had 30+ social accounts. So he was re-submitting same websites from different accounts over and over again, and results were very, very good! Hostgator should allow you having many cronjobs on same account (if you will not run cronjobs every few minutes). Social Bookmarks Submitter software is highly optimized, so it will not overload server in any way. -------------------- I'm looking forward to assist you,

Thanks for the reply adsenseboy, how many websites was that customer promoting again? It seems the number was cut off What settings would you recommend for this? Randomize accounts? Get tags and descriptions automatically? |

Sorry, I forgot to add the number of sites. This customer was promoting about 10 sites only. He used random accounts feature.

he was re-submitting same websites from different accounts over and over again, and results were very, very good! Was he submitting the sites at a FAST pace and then resetting the Status on the Manage Domains Tab after all sites had been submitted? How fast was he submitting the sites? Cron timing? I have a site that I could try this and see the outcome. I really like to test things like this. I am currently using 10 Adsense sites that I have, using a different template on each one to see which has the best CTR. All 10 of the sites get about the same amount of traffic, so it should show efficiency of each of your templates fairly well. Marten Davis -------------------- |

This customer was running cronjob every 6 hours if I remember right. And yes, he was resetting sites only when all sites became submitted

That's damn interesting strategy. 30+ accounts on social sites for 10 websites. OK, I will do my own testing using similar strategy. Will keep you updated!

Tim, Social Bookmarks Submitter can do it without problems. Just enter username/password/email via Social Bookmarks Submitter administration interface, and click Register link. It will create account(s) automatically.
