Additional Fresh SEO action per page
« on: July 02, 2010, 12:23:32 PM »
Correct me if I am wrong that once the page is built there is nothing new that happens with the page or content that would show the search engines that the page (not the site) is fresh.  Other then if somebody post a comment nothing further happens with the page.  Is this a correct comment.

I am not an SEO expert but I have studied it for about a year as a hobby and it seems that for a page to stay fresh in the index it has to have fresh content.

I have looked around and was wondering if you could add some features.   I looked at rotating meta tags of various sorts, rotating youtube videos or photobuck.  It does not have to be on steroids but maybe do something small or a series of small thing every few day.

For instance I have several pages some have photobucket and / or youtube but it seems that after the page is built there is noting to go back and perhaps pick up a video on a page that originally did not have a video added or if it was maybe search and find another relevant video and keep the links from the old stuff and rotate them back in.

grip, this is not 100% correct. When all pages are built, the software continues updating old pages (it starts from older pages and slowly moves on to newer pages). You may notice that in publish date (displayed on page).

Is there any default time interval between updating old pages?

To prevent any possible footprints, time interval between updates is random for each website (but it also depends on number of pages built)
