AWB: content for new keywords
« on: July 12, 2010, 12:49:42 PM »
Hi,

I have noticed that i have to keep track of when awb updates the site. I have to go in and click all the new links manualy to actualy make it grab the content. I would be realy nice if and when it updates that it fetches the content right away else RSS and first page and some other things ends up with 0 in content. This is realy bad if you look to SEO. for example google enters first page and there is no content just some links.
I understand that this update is realy done when a user enters the page and it would be heavy load time when the update occur but Please make some form of option to grab the content when it updates. or maybe turn off automatic timing and add a file that you can run manualy for this update in chronjobs or similar to make it get the full content right away.

Regards.

Hi again,

Great that you like my ideas. I have one more regarding this subject. Sometimes it seems like awb can't find any text to the keyword. What i experince is that atleast some pages ends up textless. I don't know how this can be but i think it's because it can't find an article or something. But if it is possible to discard the keyword and move on to the next instead of having a blank page it would be great :)

Regards,

May I ask what content generator options (serps, articles, news, etc.) you have enabled?

Hi again,

I don't have serps active since it makes to me strange content. I have Articles on and the rewrite function to that turned on. and also random news. links to articles are turned off.

MoonWolf, I'm happy to announce that I just finished testing this feature on AWB 1.4 Beta, and it works perfect. New content is fully generated even before user or search engine visits the index page, so get ready for massive boost in search engine rankings now!

AWB 1.4 Final should be available next week.
I'm looking forward to serve you!
