Account Registration Fails
« on: September 06, 2010, 03:25:59 AM »
I purchased Automatic Pligg Submitter yesterday, but I have problems with account registration. I added 5 Pligg sites to software to test registration engine, but none of accounts was registered. I don't see any errors.

Can you help me?

Are these sites really Pligg sites? Maybe you added some other bookmarking sites?

I'm sure these sites use Pligg script because they have text "Powered by Pligg CMS" in footer. And I'm sure my links are correct (pliggsite1.com/register.php, pliggsite2.com/register.php, etc.)

Any more ideas?

First of all, welcome to the forum!

You experience this issue because incorrect Pligg site URLs were added to the software. As explained in user guide and help section, you should add MAIN URL of Pligg site. For example, if Pligg site is available at http://some_pligg_site.com, you should add this URL, and NOT http://some_pligg_site.com/register.php

Automatic Pligg Submitter parses correct registration, login and submission links automatically, so you should always enter the main URL only.

Please try removing Pligg site links from your installation and re-adding them again (be sure to use only main URLs now). As soon as you do this, all accounts should be registered successfully.
I'm looking forward to serve you!

That was it! I will read user guide next time before asking questions... I followed your tips and accounts were successfully registered on all sites. Thanks!
