More control over domain parsing
« on: December 23, 2009, 10:28:13 AM »
A limitation of the software I've discovered when using the feed spider plugin is that you need to enable the automatic domain parsing option in settings.

This causes a problem if you want to manually add a domain to bookmark with a custom title, description and tags as these are then overwritten because of the automatic parsing option being enabled for the feed spider plugin to work properly.

If you could include a simple check box below each domain entry in the bookmark queue to overide the automatic option allowing manual/custom titles, descriptions and tags to be used.

If you write meta tags for any domain manually, the software will ignore automatic tags parsing feature and custom meta tags will be used.
I'm looking forward to serve you!

pieman, even old version of Social Bookmarks Submitter software supported this feature. Maybe your installation is corrupted?
