I received this e-mail some time ago and it addresses one of the MOST IMPORTANT items to success using AdSense. I hope that it is useful to you.....
Marten Davis "Dear Marten: I can always tell when someone really does not understand the process of succeeding with AdSense sites. They will ask a question like this: "Which keywords do I need to optimize with that pay the highest per click?" Ok, here are 5 very well paying keywords: Home loans Home or car insurance Mesothelioma Attorney Lawyer Only a beginner would choose one of those areas to create a site for. Yes, those keywords pay well. However, how in the world will the site ever get traffic? Some of the best SEO professionals are working very hard to rank pages for those terms. The competition is simply too intense and filled with too many talented marketers. What a beginner really should ask is this: What are keywords in areas where the competition is not too great? What niche can I create a site for and reasonably expect to rank well in the search engines with? Those new to AdSense are far better off creating a site in an obscure area which may only generate a few dollars a day. It is simply not that difficult to create a 5 to 10 page site which earns fifty to sixty dollars a month...this month, next month, and every month. Likewise, it is not that difficult to find dozens of niches with which to duplicate those results with! Stop trying to hit a grand slam with a high paying site. Focus on winning your success with simple base hits. Those small successes are all your need to build a large and profitable portfolio of sites! Of course traffic is the real key. No traffic means zero success...period! Since paying for traffic is not an option for Adsense success, one must rely on natural methods which do not cost. What you need are working strategies which consistently bring that traffic to your sites. Sincerely, XXXXXXXX"

Go this message tonight. What does this mean to us? "Hello, Thank you for participating in the AdSense Referrals program. We’re writing to let you know that we will be retiring the AdSense Referrals program during the last week of August. We appreciate your patience during this transition and here are some alternative options to consider: * Google Affiliate Network: As part of the integration of DoubleClick, the DoubleClick Performics Affiliate Network will now operate as the Google Affiliate Network for advertisers targeting users located in the United States. Similar to the AdSense Referrals program, the Google Affiliate Network enables publishers to apply for advertiser programs and get paid based on advertiser-defined actions instead of clicks or impressions. For further details, please visit: www.google.com/ads/affiliatenetwork. * AdSense for content ads: If you have less than three AdSense for content ad units on a page, you may wish to replace the referral ad units with standard AFC ad units. Adsenseboy:
I would like to have AMM build a website with good readable current content and WITHOUT THE RANDOM CONTENT that does not make any sense. IF Google comes and looks at my site and finds junk content, they will immediatly remove my site from their database. It takes much to much effort and time to get a site with good traffic (which generates income), and then lose it !!! If we had content that is meaningful and a visitor would like to read it, that would make the site MUCH BETTER and less prone to removal. Either the site could have a list of RSS topics in only one line that could be clicked on to bring up the entire feed. We now input rss feeds, so if we could just limit the size of the displayed rss topic and then have the entire clickable feed behind it, that would be great. OR Gather complete short articles from http://ezinearticles.com/ or some other source. These articles are fine to use as long as you include all the header information. I have no problem giving credit for the article, but only want content that is useful and readable. I could care less if the visitor finds good content, but I sure would like for Google to find good content if they actually look at my site. Your thoughts...... Marten Davis

I have a great source for articles on about any subject and wonder if you might put the articles directory back in so that we can gather content from our own gathered sources?

Adsenseboy:
Is there a possibillity to have ALL of the plugins draw the keyord list from AMM so that all the plugins stay updated as new keywords are added via the keywords module? I have actually been adding only the main keyword that I am targeting on the initial install so that it gets submitted FIRST on all the plugins. Then the keyword module will add additional words and they will then get submitted. Marten Davis |
